Roads2Joya offers specialist restoration, reupholstery, and bespoke soft furnishings. With over twenty years of combined experience, AMUSF-trained upholsterers Ayesha Sowani and Stephanie Kinmond restore exceptional furniture while creating bespoke curtains, cushions, and upholstery tailored to each client's home.

Having taught upholstery through the AMUSF, Ayesha brings extensive knowledge of traditional upholstery techniques, historical construction, and period furniture, enabling us to advise on the most appropriate approach for every commission.

We believe there is no single correct method of restoration. Every piece is assessed individually, considering its history, construction, intended use, and the client's aspirations before selecting the most appropriate materials and upholstery techniques—whether traditional, contemporary, or a considered combination of both.

Our approach is guided by the furniture itself, making thoughtful decisions that respect each piece while ensuring it continues to be enjoyed for many years to come.
